Recaps for Group D: Round 3

The final games of the group stage are here, with one determining who will be first and who will be last, and the other determining the final spot into the quarterfinals. Predictions we go:

Who: Chile vs. Panama @ 8 PM ET
Where: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA
Watch: FS1, UniMas (TV); Fox Sports Go, Fox Soccer 2Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 2-0 Chile: The game that decides a berth for one team and elimination for another is the last, most meaningful game of the group stage. Chile has struggled with offense, winning against Bolivia by a PK and scoring off a free kick against Argentina. But Panama just got routed by Argentina and Chile has always been crutch in do-or-die tournament games. Chile scores early, and then late to clinch the win.

Who: Argentina vs. Bolivia @ 10 PM ET
Where: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, WA
Watch: FS1, UniMas (TV); Fox Sports Go, Fox Soccer 2Go (Streaming)
Prediction: 4-0 Argentina: It's hard to imagine whether Argentina will play actually, or just rest its starters for the quarterfinals. For me, I think they actually play to clinch first (they probably due to +6 GD) but will still win regardless starters or not. Lionel Messi comes on as a sub and scores at least twice to guarantee the win.
Panama would need a win against defending champs to make it past the group stage.
