Costa Rica vs. Paraguay

After a thrilling match between Colombia and the US, the next match was a snoozer as there a scoreless draw between the two teams. With 5 yellows and a red card, the most entertaining part of the game, some might say, was the water break in each half. In the 15th minute, Paraguay's Paulo de Silva headed a ball just wide off a corner. Two minutes later, Costa Rica had a chance when mid Bryan Ruiz headed one to Paraguay keeper Justo Villar. Villar would make 3 more saves, including his punch off Christian Bolanos' strike in the 88th. Costa Rica's keeper Pat Pemberton would make his only save from Bruno Valdez's mistimed header in the 47th. One of the rare snooze parts of the match came in the final minute when Costa Rica's Kendall Watson recklessly fouled Nelson Valdez. Watson was behind Valdez, and had no chance of getting the far ahead ball. Watson got a red, and will miss the game against USA on Tuesday. Referee Patricio Lousteau shows the red card to Kendall Waston (#19) of Costa Rica during a match against Paraguay at Camping World Stadium as part of Copa America Centenario US 2016 on June 04, 2016 in Orlando, Florida, US. Ref shows red to Watson (19) after harsh tackle on Valdez (on ground).
