Prediction for Quarterfinal #1

Before we get to the prediction, I went 12 for 24 on group stage predictions, getting the result right 12 out of 24 times. Also, I got 6 out of 8 teams predicted to make the quarterfinals, with my exceptions being Uruguay and Brazil.

Prediction: 1-0 USA: With DeAndre Yedlin out, Ecuador could get some good crosses into the box. But US keeper Brad Guzan, alond with defender John Brooks, have been solid the last 2 games, shutting out Costa Rica and Paraguay. I believe the US can win this game, while close, and also shut out Ecuador. No extra time needed for this one.

I predict Clint Dempsey will for the 3rd time score the GW goal.
